Over the weekend, I was finally able to hit Bronze 1 in my comp matches! Although rank is not everything, I was very pleased to finally get a promotion. There were a handful of matches that I ran with someone named "noteworthy", and we had some great matches together.
There's something about the world of comp play that turns something on in my brain. I can't wrap my head around it, but I believe it simply has to do with the heightened competitiveness (duh) as well as the fact that there is something on the line, with every match that is run.
With this in mind, I felt that there needed to be more aim training that is done physically in the game itself. Although my aim training has been going smoothly, I find that the translation to in-game has been less than anticipated-which may be due to the number of changing factors in Valorant. This could be due to utility useage, or simply the fact that enemies are (1) constantly moving and (2) in places where a fast response time is everything. Although I don't have a definite answer as to how I could train this, I guess I'll just start with crosshair placement and simply playing more matches.
