The general consensus seems to be that my sens needs to be much lower than what I was originally playing at. Up until now, I've been training and playing at 0.4 sens @ 1000 DPI. It seems, however, that I play MUCH better at a halved sens.
Of course, only time will tell. But as far as I can see, my stats immediately jumped when I lowered my sensitivity down to 0.271 @ 1000 DPI.
Although the drop is a big, big change, I've noticed that for the most part, I am able to line up my shots better w/ less figeting. My crosshair simply finds the target faster, and it stays on the target longer.
In the instances where I strafe and shoot, the lowered sens allows me to trace the target with less over / undershooting.
All of these things sound promising; but we will have to see if this is the default going forward.
